We are very proud to announce the city's first apiary.
The apiary is located in Fairmount Cemetery.
There are 18 hives, with a mixture of both Langstroth and Top Bar hives.
We hold classes, hive inspections and by appointment we host school groups and the general public (donations for the latter always appreciated)
Our goal is to educate, familiarize and demystify the public about honey bees.
